Tired of Tokyo edits for now so I’m going to sho Tired of Tokyo edits for now so I’m going to showcase some other Japanese stuff.
Kenrokuen in the city of Kanazawa is considered to be one of only three truly great gardens in Japan. On this picture you can see why. Fantastically landscaped, lovely fall colours, wonderful old trees, and this in a much quieter alternative to lets say Kyoto.

Akihabara is one of the weirder parts of Tokyo. El Akihabara is one of the weirder parts of Tokyo. Electric Town, next to the metro station, serves as an anime/gamer paradise, with giant stores selling thousands of figurines, trading cards and videogames. It’s just as famous for its countless maid bars, where everyone is dressed as a French maid and everything from the staff, the food and the drinks is completely kawaii. They do cute little dances, sing songs and if you want to order something you have to say “meowmeow” first and make the heart sign with your hands. Only felt slightly awkward going in as 41-year old man by myself.

Here are some more after sunset pics of Dogenzaka: Here are some more after sunset pics of Dogenzaka: Shibuya’s party district. Part of it is called Love Hotel Hill. This is where Japanese couples (or guys on business trips) go when they want to have some coital fun. Many buildings have very thin walls, so you might want to book one of these places for a couple of hours in stead of having every neighbour cheering you on.

I love that young people here look like they're from the future when they go out. One is wearing cat ears, the other one has blue hair, both seem to come straight out of Cyberpunk 2077. The clothing style is wild and I love it.
